Well, my final word in the newsletter last fall was a thought of the water back at pool in the spring. We have our wish, it is at pool and was over our dock about five times in early spring. For those of you who did not make it to the lake in the winter, one of the times the lake froze over, I measured it at six inches but we didn’t ice skate as it wasn’t frozen long. We observed many ducks this winter that were migrating, and not normally in this area ,and it was a real pleasure to record them in our book and Brenda has many pictures to substantiate their presence. We have also been blessed with our Baltimore Orioles visiting already this spring but have not located their nest what beautiful birds.
You should have received your dues invoice this past week. In my letter last fall, I asked your feedback of issues and/or complaints that your Board could address and have heard very little. In that sense, I make the request again as I would like your help in conversations with your neighbors to invite them to join our association. If there is a reason why they will not join, or, any reason that you would hesitate to ask them to join, your Board would like to know the problem. It is so much easier for me and other Board members to address the City, County, Fish & Wildlife, Lake Expansion Committee, or any other entity, when you have a vast majority of the property owners as members of the association.
